Statement of Faith

 

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son (the Word) and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:26, Deut. 6:4, Mt 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14 and I John 5:7).

 

We believe the Bible to be fully and uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it is the only authoritative, inerrant and infallible written Word of God.
(2 Tim. 3:15-17, Heb. 1:1-12 and 2 Peter 1:21).

 

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, visible return in power and great glory.
(Isa. 7:14, John 1:1, 14, Acts 1:11, I Cor. 15:3-4, Heb. 7:26)

 

We believe that salvation consists in the forgiveness of sins, the imputation of Christ’s righteousness, and the gift of eternal life, received by grace through faith alone apart from works.
(Jn 3:16, Romans 8:1, Eph. 2:8-9, I Jn 1:9)     

 

We believe that water baptism is an outward expression of the believer’s public renouncing of sin.

 

We believe in the Baptism with the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 and is given to Believers who ask for it (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46 and 19:1-7).  The gift of tongues and prophecy are the outward manifestations of this baptism. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling and ministry the Christian is being sanctified and empowered to live a clean, moral, Godly life and serve in the preaching and proclamation of the Gospel.

 

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe the Redemptive Work of Christ on the Cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
(Ex. 15:25-26, James 5:14-15, I Peter 2:24)
